The American Legion was founded in 1919 by the veterans of World War One.We include in our name, as other Posts do, local veterans of  Foreign Wars wh did not come home, as an additional way to honor them.

Richard Jones, Navy, WWII died 02-28-1943, Missing in Action, later declared KIA.

Frederick Cookson, Jr. Army Korean War, Killed in Action 02-14-11951, Interred Indian River.
